The Community unit will introduce children to the various roles and jobs available in the community around them. They will learn to distinguish between goods and services, natural and human resources, and rules and laws. They will also learn the importance of becoming good community citizens and will complete the unit by doing something to make their community a better place. This option provides online access to the Community curriculum. You will also need the required literature and manipulatives for this unit.
