Marketing and Sales Manager

We are seeking a Marketing and Sales Manager to lead and execute marketing and sales efforts for Beyond the Page. This role owns how we communicate our value, reach new customers, and build relationships with schools, organizations, and parents.

This is a full-time, remote position with regular travel (approximately 1–3 trips per month) to represent Beyond the Page at events and meetings.

Role Purpose

  • Grow awareness and adoption of Beyond the Page curriculum.
  • Turn interest into sales through clear messaging and effective outreach.
  • Represent the company professionally to families, schools, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Content and Communication

  • Write and edit articles for the website, blog, and marketing materials.
  • Create content for social media, email, and campaigns.
  • Communicate with schools and parents regarding questions, needs, and processes.
  • Deliver online and in-person presentations for conferences and schools.

Digital Marketing

  • Create, manage, and optimize online advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor performance and adjust campaigns based on results.
  • Manage social media accounts, including Instagram and Facebook.

Sales and Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with distance learning schools and educational partners.
  • Support school adoption efforts through communication and follow-up.
  • Provide training for families and teachers as needed.

Events and Representation

  • Travel to curriculum fairs, conventions, and school meetings.
  • Represent Beyond the Page in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
  • Give online and in-person presentations to families, educators, and schools.

Planning and Execution

  • Plan marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Manage timelines, materials, and coordination.
  • Balance multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Required Skills and Experience

Core Skills

  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Clear verbal communication.
  • Project management and organization.
  • Ability to plan and execute campaigns independently.

Marketing Experience

  • Marketing and communications experience.
  • Experience managing Google Ads or similar platforms.
  • Experience managing social media accounts for a business.

Presentation and Sales

  • Confident and engaging presenter.
  • Comfortable speaking to groups in person and online.
  • Able to explain curriculum clearly and accurately.

Background and Fit

  • Experience in marketing, education, and homeschooling.
  • Comfortable representing an educational mission.
  • Willing and able to travel as needed.
  • Available for a full-time marketing and sales position.
