A Child's Calendar by John Updike - posted from Glenmont, NY

Note that there are two editions of the book. The original is 1965 and illustrated by Nancy Ekholm Burkert; the illustrations are crisp and simple. In the 1999 version the author has changed/updated some of the wording and the illustrator is Trina Schart Hyman. We enjoyed the sweetness of the original version best.
