Hi MBtP,

I feel that this lesson is too long for a single lesson and that it lacks supporting content. Activity 2 is especially complex and requires a lot of preparation for a successful research session. This is not highlighted in the materials sections of the lesson introduction and the unit at all. Comparing similar elements across three cultures in a pot-luck research session in the library or on the internet is a long and boring exercise. For the comparison to be effective and for the Venn diagram to work the elements need to be planned ahead of time otherwise you're coming up with a lot of unrelated information.

This lesson was a bit of a shock for us and an aberration from the normal high quality of lessons in the programme.
