- When you are converting from a small unit of measure to a large unit, you need to divide (for example, 36 in.=? ft; 36 ÷ 12 = 3 ft)
Lesson 3: Measurement Problem Solving

Lesson 4: Working With Time
- When you are converting from a large unit of time to a small unit, you need to multiply (for example, 4 hours = ? minutes; 4 × 60 = 240 minutes), and when you are converting from a small unit of time to a large unit, you need to divide (for example, 540 seconds = ? minutes; 540 ÷ 60 = 90 minutes)
